Polybond 3000 is a coupling agent for filled PP systems that provides improved physical properties, especially strength and hydrolytic stability. It is ideal for tie-layers between multilayer polar and non-polar materials and for improved ink adhesion to non-woven PP.

Applications of Polybond 3000 Polypropylene-Based Coupling Agents

• Additive for polypropylene providing improved adhesion to metals and other polar surfaces
• Additive for Polypropylene master batches and color concentrates giving better filler and pigment dispersion as well as reduced bloom of polar ingredients

Regulatory Status

Storage & Handling Precautions of Polybond 3000 Polypropylene-Based Coupling Agents

Keep Polybond 3000 dry prior to processing since it is hygroscopic in nature. Tie liners of open boxes when not in use to prevent exposure to moisture. If exposure occurs, Polybond 3000 can be dried in a hopper dryer or oven for several hours at 105° C to remove moisture. A slight pungent odor is normal during processing of Polybond 3000 . Purge equipment with polypropylene before and after running Polybond 3000
