Description
LPS® corrosion inhibitor provides 99+% heat-resistant zinc rich galvanized coating for metal protection. The tough, flexible layer resists chalking, yellowing, cracking or peeling. This inhibitor acts as a hot-dip galvanizing agent that electrochemically protects ferrous metals at both indoors and outdoors. This liquid inhibitor is light gray in color and comes in a 14-ounce can. This inhibitor has 0.76 MIR VOC contents that evaporate slowly without leaving any residues or stains. It takes 6 hours for curing and 3 to 5 minutes for drying. The corrosion inhibitor has a vapor pressure of greater than 1 kPa at 25 degrees C, boiling temperature rating of 133 degrees F and a specific gravity of 1.76 at 25 degrees C. This aromatic hydrocarbon odored inhibitor has a flash point of less than 73.4 degrees F, making it safe for use. It withstands temperature range of -40 to 750 degrees F. The corrosion inhibitor withstands a water temperature up to 212 degrees F and continuous dry heat up to 750 degrees F. It is ideal for air conditioning parts, antennas, bridges, chain link fences, docks, ducts, heating parts, machine housing and material handling equipment.
