Henkel Loctite® 242 Series threadlocker sealant has a vapor pressure less than 5 millimeters Hg at 27 degrees C, specific gravity of 1.1 at 75.02 degrees F, VOC contents of 6.17 grams per liter and a boiling temperature rating greater than 149 degrees C. It has a flash point greater than 199.94 degrees F for safe use. The mild odored, liquid sealant is blue in color and comes in a 0.5-milliliter capsule. It has a tensile strength of 110 psi. This product requires 24 hours for curing and withstands a temperature range of -65 to 300 degrees F.
